Seasoned veterans within the Solar Industry, Kemada continue to excel in the renewables market with major works on 19 large ground mounted solar installations ranging from low voltage to 33kV sites, all to be delivered before the ROC deadline.
Kemada HV Director Nigel Bird says the refinement of our package customer substations which are pre-built in factory conditions and fully tested before delivery to site, plays a large part in allowing the installation teams to be able to site and connect a customer substation in a single day. This gives us tremendous flexibility with the experienced site teams, who can then maximise the number of sites we can quickly connect.
Kemada are covering all the options with the possibility of our usual helicopter on standby to quickly move our G59/3 commissioning engineers around the United Kingdom, although this year a boat might prove to be more appropriate!
Working alongside other specialist contractors to very tight programme demands, Kemada are once again undertaking works including civil’s, LV & HV switchgear, cable installations, HV cable terminations, earthing and G59/3 testing, all using our in-house labour force to ensure we have control over quality and standards throughout.
