NICEIC Approved Contractors are assessed to the highest standards covering all types of electrical work including, design, installation, commissioning and maintenance of commercial, industrial and domestic electrical installations. These assessments are carried out across two phases, both office based and site inspections.

As part of our ongoing commitment to maintain our accreditation to work in such high-profile business sectors, whilst also ensuring that our customers’ expectations for quality and standards are met, our recent installation carried out at Derby Station was visited by the NICEIC inspecting engineer as part of our annual audit. The Derby Station remodelling project was a £200M upgrade to improve ‘bottleneck’ issues, improve line speeds and provides customers with better facilities. Kemada were engaged to deliver an extensive electrical package including an upgrade to the mains intake, submain power supplies, station lighting and power distribution to retail outlets, CCTV and public address systems. These services stretched over 2 new 340 metre island platforms.

During the audit Kemada were highly commended by the inspecting engineer on the standard of our documentation and quality of electrical installation work stating; ‘The outcome of the assessment is a pass result. from the site inspections it was noted that the electrical installation work has been done to a high standard – well done’.

Kemada Director, Kevin Gibbons said: “We are extremely proud to have had an association with the NICEIC for over 10 years. This recent audit outcome recognises the commitment and effort from both our office and site teams and I would like to thank and congratulate all involved”.
