NWR Aberdeen Clayhills Depot

Kemada are proud to be awarded Aberdeen Clayhills Depot Gantry Lighting working directly for Network Rail. This is one of our first contracts working directly for NWR and hopefully will lead to other future opportunities. Work will be commencing in May and completion is planned for the end of June.

Commercial & Industrial

The project involves the replacement of existing luminaires with new LED lighting installation on five lighting gantries on the external stabling roads at Clayhills Depot.

The existing gantries are traditional steel framed with Local Distribution Boards at low level on each gantry serving SON flood lights, CCTV and local socket outlets. The gantries which span the tracks are approximately 35m in length, 7m high and 70m apart, providing lighting to the sidings and surrounding walkways.

“Kemada are delighted to have been awarded the scheme with Network Rail. We are currently working through some challenges on the scheme, which will strengthen our standpoint within the infrastructure and will be mobilising our team and aiming for a smooth and successful completion” Joshua Anderson – Business Sector Manager (Rail) – Kemada Limited.
