Rochester Station

Kemada were employed by C. Spencer to undertake M&E services as part of a redevelopment scheme to commission a new railway station to allow the demobilisation of the existing Victorian Station 1 mile away. The £26 million project was delivered on time and to a high standard. Kemada were commended regarding their high grade quality of install.

Commercial & Industrial

The scope of works for this project were, provision of a completely new installation including new wiring and containment. Installation of new luminaires to Platforms, Concourse Area, Forecourt, Ticket Office, Toilets, Switch rooms and Stairwells. Installation of new DNO supply, New MCC Mains Switch Panel and testing and commissioning.

The first Train ran at 17:24 on Sunday 13th December and the station was officially opened on Monday 14th December by Claire Perry, the Minister of Rail and conservative MP for the Devizes constituency. The project will improve access to the rail network for the surrounding communities and increase accessibility between residential areas and job opportunities. It will assist Economic regeneration and improve education, shopping and leisure facilities in and around Rochester.
